In the face of the gravest emergency the nation has ever witnessed, its civilians are bearing the brunt. Civilians evacuated the endangered, clashed hand-to-hand with infiltrating terrorists, and provided essential transport and evacuation for those in need.  Many residents are now homeless.  

 

The Crisis is Ongoing - Contrary to standard trauma care assurances that the danger has passed, for many, the current crisis is an ongoing nightmare, with no end in sight. Numerous are still unaccounted for; children are left orphaned, and parents mourn the loss of their young. Hospitals are overwhelmed with the injured, and for many, there's no longer a home to seek solace in. 

   

Immeasurable Grief – Israeli communities, characterized by their tight-knit bonds, are experiencing loss on an immeasurable scale. Every resident lost family, friends, or neighbors. The shared sorrow is palpable, and the anxiety for those kidnapped and missing — particularly the vulnerable like children and the elderly — is heart-wrenching.
